Keep the Same Elections from Last Year
Even if you’re happy with your elections from last year, review and confirm that you’ve signed up for the plans that are right for your and your family. If you take no action, most plans will rollover, but the following require you to re-enroll:

  • Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA)
  • Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)

If you choose not to review your elections, you will not be able to make changes until next year’s annual open enrollment, unless you experience a qualified life event.

Supporting Documentation
If you are adding a dependent to your coverage, supporting documentation must be received by Friday, October 28th.

Evidence of Insurability
If you make an election that requires proof of good health often referred to as evidence of insurability (EOI), you must complete your EOI by December 31, 2016.
